Our Love Story
(in a nutshell)
Alessandra:
"Anak! Wag muna mag syota until 21 ha!"
- Translation: "Child! No boyfriend until the age of 21!"
These were the strict rules imposed upon myself as a teenager.
When I turned 19 years of age - fresh from the Far North to Melbourne, I had grown closer in friendship with Kenneth. Even though we had known of each other in 2012, our paths had not crossed until 2015.
Kenneth:
Myself being stubborn (or patient - however you want to see it), courted Alessandra for 2 years. Even with the suggestion of Alessandra to 'Move on! It is too long!', I persisted.
In that time, we both grew in deep respect and friendship for each other in those two years.
We ended up dating for four years with three years of long distance and engaged for two years.
As we reflect on our journey, we know there were many trials and triumphs we have undergone throughout our years of dating.
It is truly the Lord's work and divine grace that have placed us to where we are right now in our lives. He has given us the strength, perseverance and courage to trek through the daily sacrifice required to love our partner (and soon, future spouse) as Christ loved His Bride - The Church.
We would be utterly honoured and delighted for you to share in this momentous occasion for us, as we embark into the Sacrament of Matrimony!

We highly recommended carpooling or taking a taxi/uber as public transport will take close to 2 hours via train and bus.

Parking
Church:
There is no parking on the Basilica grounds. The Basilica forecourt is to be used by the bridal party vehicles only. Parking is generally available in Reserve Road which runs alongside the Basilica, traffic is one way and accessed from Camberwell Road. There is also a Council owned car park behind the Basilica which is accessed from Inglesby Road.
Other options are Wilsons Parking nearby or other alternative paid parking buildings.

Free parking is available at the site. Please follow signs and park at Grand Marquee, Wandin Park Estate
Where to Stay
We recommend several hotels in the area for out-of-town guests.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all.
However, if you would like to contribute to our future together, we have provided a wishing well at reception.
Wedding Motif
Black Tie Formal with earth tones.
Think dark/coffee browns, sunset oranges, clay, terracotta, soft peach, mustard yellow! We would also love floral dresses/ties of any kind!
As the bridal entourage will be wearing dusty sage and olive green, please refrain from wearing these colours. Other green shades are acceptable. We hope you understand!
